Our History

Origin: The seeds of St. Arnold’s English Medium school was sown by Rev. Fr. Joseph Jeerakathil SVD in the year 1997. Fr. Jeerakathil through his vast mission experience and visions for future began the school in order to provide quality education to the catholic tribal students of the area. He also heeded to the demands of the general population of the town. The strength of the school in the first years gives its testimony that starting of an English Medium school at Meghnagar was the need of the hour. In the first year it self in the Lower Kg class there were 89 students enrolled which went up to 213 in the second year. In the year 2003 the school got permission to start class V with 442 students as its strength. The school got its permission to start class VIII in the year 2006 followed by class IX in 2008. In the year 2009 onwards the school got its High School Recognition under the Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal Bhopal (MP Board).

At present there are 1125 students studying the school from Nursery to class XI. We also hope to get the school affiliated to CBSE New Delhi in the year 2014-15.
